Babies love the feel
of pure silk. It is surprisingly warm yet this magical fiber can have a
cooling effect in humid or hot weather. It has ability to wick moisture
away from the skin. For babies with sensitive skin or allergies, especially
to washing powders, it is ideal as you can hand wash it using baby
shampoo and it air dries very quickly.
Silk is great to help protect your baby from mosquito and insect bites as they do not like biting through the silk. A zipper down the front of the bag allows easy access for changing diapers. The top of the zipper in the model with sleeves, is covered by a little silk tab so that the zipper will not scratch under the baby’s chin. Each bag has an embroidered motif sewn on it. We only make the bags in white undyed silk to avoid allergic reactions to the dyes. |
